Minun mummoni
Minun mummoni kuritti vain niitä,
joita hän rakasti.
Joskus toivoin,
että hän rakastaisi vähemmän
minua,
mutta nyt vanhana miehenä
olen ylpeä hänen
huolenpidostaan.

My Grandmother
My grandmother punished only those
whom she wanted to love.
Sometimes I was hoping
That she would love
me less
but now like an old man
I’m proud of her
love.

Моя бабушка
Моя бабушка наказывала только тех,
кого хотела любить.
Иногда я надеялся
Что она бы любила
меня менее,
но теперь, как старик
Я горжусь ею
любовь.

Very nice poem. I think we all had a grownup in our lives like your grandmother.

The most relevant love that we can have in life is the love of grandma. It is the most unconditional love that can exist. And all of us who have had it, remember it with affection and veneration.
Your poem is all sentiment and thank you for remembering that we have had it.
Fondly

I tend to think here you were raised by your grandmother. Stay well. I’ve heard little in my country about the Corona goings in Finland. Do share if you wish.

Thank you for your comment.
Not alone by my grandmother, but she has a significant role.
The Corona hasn’t been so bad in Finland, at least for now.
All the best to you and your love ones 🙂

Wonderful poem about your grandma. I related lots to my own through it. It’s also nice to meet you – I am the Count of Monte Cristo and invite you to follow my blog too! Let’s grow together.

It’s such a blessing to grow up under a grandmother’s shelter, it’s one of the most beautiful experiences in this world.
